Q. Seen anything in the papers & mags ?

• Spotted the following items in my daily tabloid paper, The Sun ...


1. Missed from October, this episode of our daily cartoon couple is for anyone planning a dare at the Xmas office party. This has wife Lynne chatting to a friend at a birthday party:

   LYNNE( Picture 1 ): "Yes, Sue does Birthdays and Weddings, all the big events."
   FRIEND ( Picture 1 ): "The catering?"
   
   LYNNE ( Picture 2 ): ""No - the streaking!"
   

   Perhaps she's just comfortable with nature ( 31/10 ).


2. Two Sun Fun cartoons ( seen right ) missed from last month ...
   
   
   
   1. The top one has a husband explaining his decorating choice to his wife: "You told me to choose any wallpaper I liked." A case of operation cover-up ( 12/11 ).
   
   
   
   
   2. The bottom one has a visit to a museum to admire the art on display including a naked sculpture 'pointed' out by a friend: "See how it points at you, Norma, no matter where you stand in the room?" Is this a case of casting a shadow or the naked compass ? ( 25/11 ).


3. Back in March there was a fuss as "France's sexy First Lady was "splitting blood" with anger - after this photo of her STARKERS was released just hours before her state visit to Britain." The item with a heading of MRS STARKERZY - Carla fury as nude photo released before UK trip due to "former supermodel Carla Bruni-Sarkozy .. was showcased by auctioneers Christie's ahead of a forthcoming sale. The picture taken 15 years, shows Italian-born Carla totally naked.." Anyway other photos on the page show her now 40 with French President husband Nicolas, another of our own Queen and one of the expecting Windsor crowd. If I remember the visit passed without a hitch and great success for the pair ( 26/03 ).
   Move on and blink if you miss a paragraph headed NUDE BRUNI SUES which tells of "French First Lady Carla Bruni, 40, is suing fashion firm Pardon for £120,000 after they put her naked photo on a handbag". A handbag ! Non possible ! Hey I thought the French were most 'naturelle' people with the naked body as proved when she was care free as a young model ( 13/12 ).


4. Last month a photo item titled PAM'S BIRTHDAY SUIT shows "Playboy chief Hugh Hefner [who] can't believe his luck as a naked Pamela Anderson bounds in front of him at his birthday bash. The former Baywatch babe [,41,] stripped off to dance naked as Hugh celebrated turning 82." Hey Pammie you're welcome to turn up for my next landmark birthday ( a few years yet ) party ( 20/11).
   Meanwhile blink and you miss a paragraph headed EVA SO NAUGHTY tells of Hitch star Eva Mendes, 34, [who] says she would strip for an advert with singer Morrissey, 49, to promote pets campaign PETA." Strange choice or what !
   Both items raise the question who would you strip naked in public for - friend or celebrity ? ( 15/12 ).
5. A small four paragraph item headed Marks & starkers tells of "ten saucy Marks & Spencer girls [who] have stripped off for a charity greeting card. They swapped their blue uniforms for discreetly placed balloons. .. The £2.50 cards will go on sale .. in Bristol to raise money for Alzheimer's research." So who else hasn't stripped off for a charity calendar or card ? ( 19/12 ).
6. A Sun SPOT paragraph states that "naturists are furious the nudist beach at Studland Bay, Dorset, could disappear after the National Trust abandoned coastal erosion measures." A case of now you see it and soon you won't ! Joking aside it will be a sad loss as British nudist beaches have become sparse ( 27/12 ).
