With the warmer weather becoming a distant memory .. pleased to get any sunshine at moment alas with a cold breeze.
Well I was busy last month spying on 007 as the new movie was released, so let's press on shall we ...

Q. Seen anything in the papers & mags ?

• Spotted the following items in my daily tabloid paper, The Sun ...


1. Two Sun Fun cartoons ( seen right ) missed from August ...
   1. The first has a husband explaining to his mother-in-law his naked charm: "There! Now you know why your precious daughter married me." A case of look now and forever hold your peace ( 13/08 ).
   2. The second has the wife showing her non attentive husband her new hat: "Now can you guess what I brought today?" A case of "Stop blocking the tv with your backside!" ( 16/08 ).


2. Missed from October, this adventure for our daily cartoon couple brought memories of The World Naked Bike Ride every year and perhaps if you're looking for sponsors take a tip from hubby George. This has George telling friend on bike .. note couples riding in shorts for comfort:

   FRIEND( Picture 1 ): "It's a pity we couldn't get many sponsors for our topless bike ride."
   GEORGE ( Picture 2 ): "Most men went for other riders..."
   FRIEND: "Who?"
   GEORGE ( Picture 3 ): ""Our wives!!"
   LYNNE: "There's topless and there's TOPLESS!"

   I suggest riding with a Page 3 girl to boost charity donations ( 23/10 ).


3. Two different ends of nude publicity are seen ...
   1. How many years ago when actress Kate Winslet went tastefully nude posing abroad the Titanic ? Then Kate came out with that quote about cover girls photos, now she is posing for December's Vanity Fair. The paper has similar photos on front page with header of Kate Thinslet ( or has that magic airbrush been at work once again ) and another on page 15 with bottom Titanic movie pose in 1997 and header SOFA SO GOOD, KATE.
      Described as "her sexiest photoshoot yet. The 33-year-old .. mum of two .. hit the roof when airbrushed pictures made her look stick-thin in another mag five years ago - appeared in sensational shape as she draped herself seductively across a fur rug." She is seen appearing on the cover with the wavy blonde hairdo, cross-legged and white rain-coat. Perhaps she's taking her acting career in a Sharon Stone direction ?
   2. The paper gives most of its centre pages to a different type of W*A*G*S - that's Wives & Army Girlfriends who are promoting another 'nudie' calendar ( 6 tasteful examples are seen ) called Garrrison Girls for another good cause .. this time our troops returning home. Check out the paper's website for details ( 04/11 ).
